- Nikitia Hardwick, MSN. Lead RN for Solano County Family Health Services Adult Clinic. Nikitia entered the profession of nursing at the age of 19 as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She returned to school 16 years later while still working at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH). She attended City College of San Francisco and earned an Associate’s degree in Nursing in December of 1999. She then transitioned from LVN to RN in February of 2020 and I remained with SFGH for a total of 20 years. She has worked in a variety of areas including infectious disease, HIV, substance use disorder, labor & delivery, med-surg trauma, inpatient psych, emergency, and informatics. She completed the ASN (Associate of Science Degree in Nursing) to MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) program at Touro University California in December 2020 and obtained a certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader in February 2021. Currently, She is employed by the County of Solano Health & Social Services Department as a Nursing Supervisor for Fairfield Family Health Services Primary Care Clinic.
-Jay Shubrook, DO is a board certified family physician and a fellowship trained Diabetologist (diabetes specialist). He joined the Touro University faculty in 2015 and has been involved in all things diabetes since. He sees patients at Solano County Family Health Services and NorthBay Diabetes and Endocrine Center. His research is focused on diabetes prevention and early intervention. He also works to better train the primary care workforce to manage diabetes.
