You can buy a city pass to visit most of the places and use the local bus to travel. You can buy a digit pass and add it to your apple wallet from the Ventra app.
1-Millennium Park/Chicago bean(Cloud Gate) - It’s free. Millennium Park is a public park located in the Chicago Loop. You can see Cloud Gate sculpture by Indian-born British artist [Anish Kapoor]([ Ссылка ]).
2-Art Institute of Chicago - The Art Institute of Chicago in Chicago's Grant Park, founded in 1879, is one of the oldest and largest art museums in the world.
3-Buckingham Fountain - It’s free and you can walk from cloud gate. It is a Chicago Landmark in the center of Grant Park and between Queen's Landing and Congress Parkway. Dedicated in 1927, it is one of the largest fountains in the world.
4-Chicago River Architecture Tour- You must do this but book in advance and try to take a slot during sunset.
5-Chicago Riverwalk - You should go for a walk and can enjoy food & drinks. It is also connected to Navy Pier.
6-Navy Pier - It was closed last year when I visited but I had a walk around it. It will almost take an entire day.
7-Chicago 360 - Observatory on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Building with a tilting glass lookout 1000 ft. up. It was nice for me. You can enjoy 360 city views with some food and drinks. You can easily spend an hour. I bought tilt ride since it was not included in the city pass. (book it online)
8-Skydeck Chicago - Willis Tower - 103rd floor of the former Sears Tower with clear observation boxes & views extending to four states. There are quite a lot of facilities inside the building, activities while going up such as history and fact about the landmark and Willis tower (kind of museum). I used city pass but book it online.
All these 4 places are near to each other. You can try to visit them all on the same day.

10-12th Street Beach - It is 5 min of walk from Adler Planetarium.
11-Shedd Aquarium - Shedd Aquarium is an indoor public aquarium in Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. You should go here and Field museum if you have extra time and already bought City Pass
12- Field Museum -The Field Museum of Natural History, also known as The Field Museum, is a natural history museum in Chicago, Illinois, and is one of the largest such museums in the world.
