Join me for a walking tour in Rougemont, an authentic and quiet village, nestling in the heart of the verdant valley of the river Sarine.
Thanks to its exceptional architectural heritage, the village of Rougemont is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland!
The village houses several magnificent chalets which bear witness to the folk art of the region. These wooden buildings, some of which are over 400 years old. The old chalets with their sculpted front pediments and richly decorated façades that bear the names of their owners or biblical inscriptions are aligned like a guard of honour.
