The Flux Footwear Adapt is a newer shoe that is marketed as being a highly adaptable almost barefoot-esque shoe that you can wear in a variety of settings.

I've had multiple asks to review the Flux Footwear Adapt and I was intrigued by this shoe because Flux Footwear is a newer company and this model delivers a lot of proprietary features.

Overall, I like the Flux Footwear Adapt and it's certainly interesting. It's NOT going to be your best shoe for tackling more serious niche training activities, but as a daily wear shoe and more casual training model, it does a pretty good job.

The AdaptSol and the tech that Flux Foowear uses in this model are certainly interesting and this shoe feels like a good in-between model of a barefoot shoe and a training shoe with a thicker midsole.

With the Adapt, you can basically get the sole maneuverability that you'd get with a barefoot shoe but with enough cushion to protect the feet and provide a comfortable ride for anyone not acclimated to barefoot shoes.

I do have a couple of long-term durability thoughts with this model that I'd definitely suggest keeping an eye on if you plan to invest in a pair.
