Thanks to DREAM LOCATION for letting us capture the essence of their Ferrari 488 Pista Aperta. This roofless beauty comes with Italian national colors as its pinstripe - it’s what Mario from Mario Kart would drive if he changes racing classes. Some people have referred to this supercar as Pavarotti on wheels, and others as the best convertible supercar.
We’re going to talk about the uber impressive chassis. It's a monocoque hybrid of 11 alloy metals for the optimum weight, torsional rigidity, and safety. We’re going to talk a lot about the roof. You can drop the top at up to 25 miles per hour and lower the back window like a limousine or a Honda Del Sol to really experience the closest to freedom a lot of us will ever get.
The seats are F1 inspired as most of the features on Ferrari’s are, and are alcantara. Lighter and more flame retardant than leather, these seats are of the same material you’d find in the Ferrari SF21 Formula One racing cars.
We’re taking a deeper dive into the 3.9L twin turbo V8 engine, and point out details like why it is 0.1 L larger than its predecessor.
