Redstone in Minecraft can be confusing. The Observer block is probably the BEST redstone block in the game. Let me explain it to you in this Redstone Basics Tutorial.

As part of my Redstone 101 Redstone Basics Tutorial series I am going to explain what is an observer block and how to use observer blocks in a few short minutes in a simple easy to follow way.

I will tell you about Redstone Farts, Block UpDates (BUD) and how you can use the observer to make previously complicated redstone circuits much MUCH easier.

By the end of this episode you will know what an Observer Block is, what it does, when it was introduced to the game and how to use it.
