Tandoori aloo is one of the easy and tasty tandoor recipes.
It is healthy too.
In this recipe i have made them in oven. But you can also pan fry them and for the smokey effect, roast them on direct flame.
Ingredients:
12 baby potatoes or big potatoes cut in half
1/2 cup Thick curd or Hung curd ( Hang 1 cup curd in a kitchen napkin for 2 hours, all the water will drain and you will get a thick hung curd)
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon roasted coriander powder / Jeera powder
1 teaspoon Kashmiri chilli powder / Degi mirch
2 teaspoon Ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon Garam Masala
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric / Haldi
1 Teaspoon Gram Flour / Besan
1 teaspoon Chat masala
1/4 teaspoon Ajwain / Carom seeds
1 tablespoon Kasuri methi
1 tablespoon Fresh cream / Malai
1/2 tablespoon oil
Salt to Taste
2-3 tablespoon oil for baking / broiling
