I have done this by pressure cooker like Biryani.In madurai meenakshi amman temple they prepare puliyodharai in dum method.Kovil puliyodharai is slightly different from the one which is prepared at home.so I try puliyodharai last week using pressure cooker it came out good as like temple taste. It is very easy also vary tasty puli sadham.
