With COP 27 scheduled for Egypt later this year, the global focus is on Africa’s policy makers, climate change experts and the media to galvanize the world’s attention not only on the disproportionate impact of climate change on the continent but also the need for suitable mitigation and adaptation measures. In this press briefing, Dr. Ochieng, the Programme Leader, Agricultural Biotechnology & Wildlife, the University of Nairobi, with utility of agricultural biotechnology in the fight against climate emergency in Africa.
