Viareggio Carnival (Carnevale di Viareggio) is one of the most important and famous Carnival in Italy, held annually since the first parade was organized in 1873. The program lasts about 15 days and offers charming parades of extraordinary and very colorful allegorical wagons along the seaside promenade of Viareggio (Viali a Mare). The wagons are huge and amaze the audience with incredible technical and artistic creations. Every wagon is more than 20 meters high and 12 meters wide and more than 250 dressed-up figures dance on the wagons. Welcome to the Viareggio Carnival in the amazing region of Tuscany!
