Total War Attila Patch 2 made elite melee cavalry for the Germanic factions necessary since Germanic Horsemen are shit. This has created another problem - the Norse factions can now field the second best heavy melee cavalry in the game. Tolkien created the Rohirrim, horse lords of Middle-Earth. The Creative Assembly created Nordic Horse Lords, as much a fantasy as their namesakes from Rohan.
