We launched in San Francisco in 2007 as one of the first social networking platforms for nonprofits and activists. Soon we realized the need to do more than just connect people and that those who need us most spanned across all seven continents. So in 2010, we transformed into a petition website, and in 2012, we expanded to 18 countries in 18 months!
