New way to cook Green Gram(Moong)! Unique and Delicious Sprouted Moong Recipe!
Moong sprouts are so healthy, full of protein. And there are so many things you can make from it apart from dose, idly and salad. One such recipe is this Cutlet/patties where have made a fusion with rice flour making it one of the most delicious recipes.

Sprouted Moong Cutlets/Patties or flat roti are a flavorful and nutritious snack made with sprouted moong, rice flour, and a medley of aromatic ingredients. These recipes are not only quick to make but also a delightful and healthy snack option packed with the goodness of sprouted moong and fresh vegetables. Enjoy these Sprouted Moong Cutlets with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney!

Ingredients: (I made total 7 patties & 1 roti)

2 cup sprouted moong (1/2 cup raw moong soaked and sprouted)
1/2 cup rice flour or as needed
1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, grated
1 inch ginger
1-2 green chilies
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste


Method :
In a mixer jar, take 2 cup Moong Sprouts
Add a small chopped Ginger Knob
Add Green Chillies (as per taste)
Add chopped onion
Add coriander leaves
Add grated carrot
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
Add Salt as per taste
Grind to a thick paste (without adding water)
Transfer the batter in a mixing bowl
Add rice flour as needed to bind
Mix everything well
Allow to rest 10 minutes
or Refrigerate until you ready to make patties
Take small portion and flat into patties
Heat a pan at medium heat
Add oil for shallow fry
Place the patties
Place the patties. Let it roast for 2-3 minutes.
Flip and roast the other side
Let it nicely cook from both the sides
Enjoy this Delicious Sprouted Moong cutlet or patties with tomato sauce/ketchup

Note: Instead of patties you can pat it thin and roast until light golden color on both the side
to get nice and crispy sprouted moong roti.
