Greetings brave adventurers!

The full moon hangs low and bathes the landscape in an eerily blue glow. The sound of crickets, your constant companion on your journey, echo their almost mechanical chirping through the valleys and across the nearby hills.

The road you are currently travelling on was used as a warning by many elders in your village when you were young. “Do not go near the road when the moon is bright, or the night dogs will get you”

Your child self always pulled the blanket higher as protection against these mythical, yet ever present and ever hungry beings. Now, your reason for being on this accursed stretch of dirt, rough stone and patches of grass at night when the moon is full is, you pause for a few moments….you cannot remember.

How did you get here? You struggle to remember. The Inn, the game of 'ale tower', the unusually hirsute stranger and his special remedy, you struggle to make sense of it.

The crickets are still present, you remember them, you can still remember your name and you know exactly what skills you have in order to protects yourself from any…..

……howling.

Not one either, but two distinct calls. You spin around in the direction you think the spine chilling sound called from and measure your options. You stand at the fork of a main road with 3 clear ways of approach. Now you just need to decide which one to concentrate on.
