6 weeks prior to this fight Zachary had won the ICO British title and Kieran 1 week later had won the ICO European title. 6 and 5 weeks after both fighters had won their belts, they put them both on the line in a highly anticipated rematch after their first meeting in 2015 where Zachary took a decision win for the WKA British Welterweight Title.
