Bruce Springsteen performs "I Hung My Head" as a tribute to 2014 Honoree Sting, who wrote the song in 1996. "I Hung My Head" reflects Sting's childhood fondness for TV Westerns, as well as deeper themes of life and death, justice and redemption.
The Kennedy Center Honors is an annual honor given to those in the performing arts for their lifetime of contributions to American culture.
