New opportunities, academic support and a system of role models have shaped Courtney, Alyssa and Cale into the competent animal lab researchers they are today. Rats aren’t the only thing growing up in Heidelberg’s animal lab. Through volunteering with the rats, these student researchers have boosted their confidence and bolstered their resumes above and beyond classroom learning to prepare for success.
