Exploring Kazinga waterbody and its fascinating inhabitants was breathtaking. The channel has various animal and bird species, a healthy population of African buffaloes, Nile crocodiles and hippopotamuses. This included the elusive pink hippo which is the only one in the entire water body.
The channel is also a magnet to various bird species. One had to keep their eyes open as most of the inhabitants were well camouflaged within their environment.
