We had the honor of having our friend record some short demos of the M808A Preamp he owns at his home studio on his handmade drum set.
Behind his big sound in this clip is only a pair of matched Neumann Gefell M582 tube microphones going straight through the M808A Preamp, printed to Logic Pro via the Apogee Element interface.
This is the raw track and no EQ, Compression, or any effect was used for a true frame of reference.
