Chinese Sticky Fried Rice (Nor Mai Fan) Dim Sum restaurants serve a version of this. Make it at home. It is basically fried rice—but requires sweet rice in addition to some regular white rice mixed in and prepping all the ingredients.
Ingredients: 2 cups Sweet Rice, 2 cups regular calrose (or jasmine rice), 4 pieces of Chinese Sweet Sausage (Lup Cheong) dried shrimp, shitake mushrooms, sliced ginger, cilantro and scallions. MSG and or Chicken Stock, Sesame Oil, White pepper for the shrimp (helps to reduce fishiness, Oyster Sauce and or Soy Sauce. Sugar. Adjust to taste. Increase ingredients as desired. If you want to go premium—add Dried Scallops as an ingredient.
