Driving on the Swiss Autobahn A1 and A7 from Brüttisellen (Canton of Zurich) to Kreuzlingen (Canton of Thurgau) on Lake Constance and close to the German border. Enjoy a roadtrip through the autumn landscape of the the Swiss Plateau.
The tour starts at the Brüttiseller Kreuz, a motorway junction in the village of Brüttisellen in the municipality of Wangen-Brüttisellen. The motorway junction is on the A1 motorway, the main traffic route between Zurich and Winterthur.
The A7 motorway runs from Winterthur in north-eastern Switzerland to Kreuzlingen, a border town with Konstanz (Germany). The A7 is relatively free of traffic jams or traffic at all.
Kreuzlingen is a municipality in the north-eastern part of Switzerland. With a population of around 22’000, it is the second largest town in the canton of Thurgau. The city lies on the border with Germany and, together with the German city of Constance, forms an agglomeration on Lake Constance with almost 120’000 inhabitants.
