Today, we toss a new fuel pump in the 2000 GMC Sierra that is capable of supporting 600hp. Which should be plenty for this truck even once it's making 12psi of boost.
And, since I know someone is going to comment about how I modified the bucket, I'm not the first guy to do that. It's a very common thing to do once you start upgrading fuel pump. Yes, I didn't have to cut the whole bottom off of it. But, in reality, drilling a bunch of holes and a slot for the pickup to stick out of isn't going to make much of a difference than just cutting the bottom off.
