So... my first Tanghulu attempt turned into a sticky crystalized hot mess!
✨recipe:
✨skewer fruit on a stick (strawberries, grapes, etc.)
✨in a small saucepan, heat up 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup water over high heat. Boil and with a thermometer make sure the mixture gets to 300F (no less). Once it gets to 300F, remove from heat immediately, and start rotating the skewers into the sugar mixture.
✨(I didn't show in video) but best practice is to immediately remove the fruit out of the sugar mixture and plunge into ice cold water. Serve immediately and enjoy 😉
