The end of winter saw Toad the Wet Sprocket experiencing additional success in early 1996. The band was coming off back-to-back platinum selling albums (fear and Dulcinea) and they had just released "In Light Syrup" (a B-sides and rarities collection) in October 1995, an album that would also go on to be certified gold. The first single from the album, "Good Intentions," provided the band with their fifth Billboard top 40 hit while the song led to another appearance on Late Show with David Letterman on January 6th, 1996. Although Toad was taking a break from touring as they began preparing songs for their next album, they took time out of their schedules to perform at a UC Santa Barbara "get out the vote" rally on March 6th. This performance of "Good Intentions" was recorded that day in Storke Plaza. Visit [ Ссылка ] for additional Toad/Glen history!
