Poland has been intensifying its port construction to forge a stronger linkage with the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). The Port of Gdansk is the country's biggest port. Data shows that the port's throughput capacity reached 68.2 million tonnes in 2022, up 28 percent year on year.
