How Germany changed me for a better person. How Europe changed me to be more open minded person. We share this home we call earth with more than 7.8 billion people and instead of living in harmony we have created such vast distances between ourselves. In this video I discuss the topic of how Germany changed me to be a better person. How traveling through Europe made me a more openminded person. I've learned tolerance, acceptance and how to navigate through life with an open mind. I discuss four ideas of a New York based journalist Shane Snow of how to become more openminded, philosophy of an open mind.
1. Having respect for other viewpoints
2. Not being intellectually overconfident
.
3. Separating one’s ego from one’s intellect
4. Willingness to revise one’s own viewpoint
I resonate with these ideas as I have unknowingly implemented these. After reading Shane's ideas, I realized how simple and yet profound these ideas are. If we all implement these in our lives, we will become more tolerable and see the world in a more beautiful light. Philosophize this.
