In 1990 the National Railroad Historical Society’s annual convention was held in St. Louis, Missouri. Four steam engines would attend the event: Norfolk & Western #1218, Cotton Belt #819, Frisco 1522, and Union Pacific #844. The convention had numerous day trips from all locomotives and was culminated with a double header featuring the 844 and 1522 to return 1522 to the museum of transportation in Kirkwood. This would be one of the rare occasions that non-UP equipment could be seen in the consist. Thank you to all who have subscribed and continue to support this channel!!
