Inspired by Spitfire Audio's new free LABS Tape Orchestra library, I composed a piece with it - using mainly the flautando strings as a backbone, with their Eric Whitacre Choir and LABS Amplified Cello Quartet for interest and reinforcement. The result is a very textured, ambient sound I never normally delve into, being usually uninterested in samples that do a lot of the work for you and couldn't be reproduced live, but the Tape Orchestra was such a cool sound I wanted to delve a little.
