This New Zealand definitive dollar coin was issued in 1999 in BU and Proof sets with the new obverse featuring Ian Rank-Broadley's fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The first coins with the fourth portrait to enter circulation were dated 2000. These coins have been minted at various different Mints over the years.
