Description
Anti Gravity Marbles | En
Friends this is a wonderful experiment which shows the rolling of a marble along a slope. It appears that the marble is going against GRAVITY but actually it is not. We will need two similar long straws, a fat straw, paper clip, nail and a marble. Open the paper clip and insert both its ends in the two straws. The straws will form a long V. Place the open ends of the straws on a fat straw to make a gentle slope raised on the right and lower on the left. If you place a nail on the slope it will roll down from the high to the low. However, on placing the marble on the junction it seems to go uphill. Do you think the marble is going against gravity? Actually the center of the marble is rolling downwards and it appears to be climbing the straws.
