Andrzej Cwiek, Egyptologist
A graduate of Mediterranean Archaeology at Warsaw University (MA 1994 work "Small Step Pyramid", PhD 2003 "Relief Decoration in the Royal Funerary Complexes of the Old Kingdom").
Since 2001, the curator of the Egyptian Gallery at the Archaeological Museum in Poznan and lecturer at the Institute of Prehistory University Adam Mickiewicz (lectures on archeology of Egypt, Egyptian art and architecture, hieroglyphics, Mediterranean archeology).
Since 1993, the participant works by Polish archaeological mission in Egypt at Tell Atrib, Saqqara and Deir el-Bahari. He conducts research iconographic and paleography in the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir-el Bahari.
Author of "How the Egyptian pyramids were built" (Poznan 2001) and "Death and Life in Ancient Egypt" (Poznan 2005).
