The Baltimore Board of Estimates on Wednesday approved a $48 million settlement for the wrongful convictions of the "Harlem Park 3." Combined, Alfred Chestnut, Andrew Stewart and Ransom Watkins spent 108 years in prison before they were exonerated in 2019. Justin Conroy, chief legal counsel for the Baltimore Police Department, told the board that the dollar amount could have been even higher.
