Aging is a non-linear dynamic process. To understand better the process and the efficacy of interventions, tools that can evaluate biological age and predict lifespan extension potential, are needed. Here, I discuss two new clocks, AFRAID and FRIGHT, from the Sinclair lab, that take us a step closer, using mouse frailty, a non-invasive, cheap and quick approach.
