I love a good warm cup of matcha (green tea) for my morning drink 🍵
The great news is that you can make it at home ☺️
Here's an easy recipe for you and you don't need to use a bamboo whisk!
This recipe is...
✔︎ Vegan-friendly if you substitute the honey with maple syrup or agave
✔︎ Gluten-free
✔︎ Refined sugar free
Ingredients:
● 2 tsps matcha powder
● 1/4 cup hot water
● 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup/agave)
● 1 cup milk (any)
Tips:
Matcha powder is very fine and is easy to clump up.
For a warm cup of matcha latte, I highly recommend you sift the matcha for a better texture.
Personally I think that the clumps stand out more with warm matcha latte more than iced matcha latte.
