If your site was hit by the HCU then some of the advice offered by Google might now be worth listening to.
In the past it has been not very helpful shall we say. But, lately, it's been much better.
Finding a fix for the Helpful content update might actually be possible and John Mu and the Google liaison team seem to be giving us better advice.
