This riveting solo rendition by Ariondo showcases the accordion's dynamic range and technical mastery -- the L.A. Times calls Nick Ariondo the 'preeminent accordionist'. Sponsored by the Hennings-Fischer Foundation/Olympia Philharmonic Society, Nick was honored to partake in this memorable concert tribute dedicated to the great violin master/pedagogue Noumi Fischer. Throughout his career, Ariondo has created a large reportoire of specialized arrangements & original compositions for the accordion, from vocal to chamber and orchestra, encompassing musical styles from baroque, classical, folk and gypsy, to jazz, pop and modern contemporary.
