Scenes from S7E08 & S3E07 stitched together of the first nuclear apocalypse, setting the story of the entire series. Becca realizes in horror and watches helplessly from the space station Polaris as her first AI, ALIE 1, has broken out and launched nuclear missiles across the world. Meanwhile the founder of the Second Dawn cult, Bill Cadogan, evacuates his wife Grace and daughter Callie to the bunker. As Callie and Grace fly towards the bunker, they witness the nuclear strike impacting Washington DC.
