In this Guitar tutorial video I share my take on the interlude and bridge riffs from Emerald by Thin Lizzy. I used BIAS FX 2 to record the guitar parts and I've included screen shots of the signal paths I used for the three performance takes included in the video. It's the first video I've published using sounds from BIAS FX 2 amp simulator instead of a real amp, so I'm interested to see what you think of the tone. I wrote and synchronised the guitar tab with the video so you can play along to this at a slower speed if you prefer using the playback settings in the YouTube video player. The video was recorded at 50fps so it should be crisp even during slow playback.
This was originally performed / recorded by Thin Lizzy. Cover by Dan Kilmartin.
Tab by Dan Kilmartin. The video features audio taken from live and dangerous 1978.
