Carved in Elm, 'Five Intersecting Tetrahedra' features 5 interlocking triangular pyramids, or tetrahedra, that weave in an out of each other. The entire object is carved from a single piece of wood, bit by bit, until all five parts become separate. Each frame of the time lapse represents about an hour of carving, and the project took around 100 hours total.
