The infamous Black Suit theme has been highly regarded as one of the best themes and tracks in the Raimi Spider-Man films, and to an extent any superhero film, and the fact such a divisive and muddled part of the third movie sported such a memorable and impactful theme speaks wonders of Young's skill. It's triumphant but has a feeling of menace and dread underneath it all, like a lurking parasite beneath the surface. It's almost like a demented superhero theme, which perfectly fits given the situation.
