Woodland Mills HM130 Max // Making Your Own Lumber Continued
In this video, Greg and Lars are continuing to mill lodgepole pine. They cut a 23 foot log into a 13 foot log and a 10 foot log in our previous video. Today they are milling the 10 foot log for girts that are 2x6x10 (they milled the 13 foot log in the previous video - Woodland Mills HM130 Max // Making Your Own Lumber - so if you haven't checked that out yet, definitely watch it and let us know what you think! ). We need 140 girts ( 2x6x10) for the barn we are building. So, we have a lot of milling in our future!
In this video, Greg and Lars (Greg's oldest son) take you along and you can see the milling close up! If you have any questions about the steps or Greg's thought process, please definitely leave a comment or a question and let us know.
