Deadvlei is a clay pan that was formed by drought and the sand dunes that block the river from reaching the area. It’s perplexing beauty that will leave you in wonder.
Enchanted Well, Brazil
Poco Encantado is located in Chapada Diamantina National Park. It is 120ft deep with water so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom of the well. The sunlight reflecting off the minerals in the water creates an unmatched spectacle.

Lake Baikal is located in southern Russia near Siberia. It is thought to be 25 million years old. It is a spectacular site which becomes even more mesmerizing when frozen. The lake’s water is so clear that when it freezes in the winter you can see almost 100 feet below.

In the center of Altiplano, Bolivia is an expansive salt dessert that creates a mirror effect with the sky. The region contains several lakes that create strange effects from their mineral deposits. The largest of these lakes is Uyuni which is estimated to contain 10 billion tons of salt.
