If you Google heart attack statistics 2017 you will find an article from the American College of Cardiology named Heart Disease and Stroke Statistics: 2017 update which is a list of the top 10 points to remember from the 2017 study.
Here they write: ”Cardiovascular disease (CVD) accounts for approximately 800,000 deaths in the United States (US), or one out of every three deaths. Among Americans, an average of one person dies from CVD every 40 seconds.”
That is a whopping 33% of all deaths that are caused by some type of heart disease. That is terrifying, to say the least.
