This footage presents the entire road from Sultanahmet Square in Istanbul to Bucharest. Throught this journey we crossed Bulgaria from south to north in just a few hours. The itinerary was:
In Turkey:
-Istanbul-Edirne(O-3 Highway);
-Edirne-Lalapasa-Hamzabeyli(National road D535) here we crossed the border between Turkey and Bulgaria and we waited about 45 minutes for custom checks;
In Bulgaria:
-Lesovo-Elhovo-Yambol-Mokren(National road 7);
-Gradet-Kotel-Ticea(National road 48);
-Omutrag-Razboina-Targovishte(European road E772);
-Targovishte-Razgrad(National road 49)
-Razgrad-Ruse(National road 2/European road E70) where we crossed the border between Bulgaria and Romania and we waited around 20 minutes for custom checks and 10 minutes for the queue for Danube Bridge toll
-Giurgiu-Calugareni-Bucharest(National road 5/European road E85)
Due to the interdiction to film or take photos at the border crossing points, those parts are missing.
I used Mio C320 for this footage and the car was an Opel Astra H 1.3 cdti made in 2007.
