"Song of the United Armies" is a propaganda song and anthem written during the Cold War and adopted as the anthem of the Warsaw Pact, despite only being performed in Russian. The lyrics of the song emphasize the brotherhood, friendship and unity of the armies and peoples of the Warsaw Pact nations (USSR, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, German Democratic Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Romania), and speaks of their readiness to fend off any attack NATO or any other power may try.
