54 year old lee obrien along with his two sons Luke obrien and lewis obrien who are all form birmingham had targeted their own friend, darren smith in shard end in march 2023

Darren smith was known to love Rolex watches and on the day of his m*rder darren had went to the smoke city and cell me phone shop to look for a phone case.

Lee obrien and his two sons ambushed the family friend inside the shop, struck darren with a wrench and pulled him to the ground, darren was then struck with legs and arms. At the time of the incident darren was wearing 2 Rolex watchmasters on his wrists. The obriens took the 2 watches in front of a distraught shop workers and pedestrians.

They then drove off.

Darren was pronounced dead at the scene
The men then fled to torquay
