He was released on a $150,000 bond. The details of the incident remain undisclosed, but Cage Coppola's mother, Christine Fulton, suffered facial injuries after his friends sought her help during a mental health crisis.
Fulton refuted claims of any prior argument with her son, stating she was called by his friends due to his mental state. Upon arrival, she witnessed his breakdown, which turned into a traumatic experience. She emphasized her ongoing support for her son's mental health struggles.
This is not Cage Coppola's first encounter with the law. In 2017, he was arrested for DUI and hit-and-run after crashing into various objects and fleeing the scene. He also faced domestic violence charges in 2011, which he denied.
Cage Coppola is one of Nicolas Cage's three children. The actor also has a son, Kal-El Coppola, 18, with his third wife, Alice Kim, and a daughter, August Francesca Coppola Cage, 1, with his current wife, Riko Shibata.
