Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. Is it too early to say I'm ready to do it all again? ;)
I've learned a lot in the first month of living out of the van. Perhaps one of the craziest aspects of it all is how fondly I look back on even the worst of the days in the van. It's not all sunshine and daisies. Some days are extremely lonely; solid feelings of isolation and listlessness due to the wandering nature of life on the road. Some days are hot or cold, dirty and uncomfortable and the list goes on.
But looking back after only a month, I have a feeling of gratitude for the miles driven and days lived on the road.
