Tu del ciel ministro eletto is a beautiful and serene aria from Handel’s Oratorio “Il trionfo del Tempo”. The oratorio premiered in Rome in 1707, but Handel twice revised it later in his career. In this aria Beauty turns her back on pleasure and dedicates her heart to the Elected Minister of Heaven. The soprano voice and solo violin are in constant dialogue throughout.

This version of Tu del ciel ministro eletto is arranged as a Duet for two Clarinets and Piano. The piano part is straightforward, but the clarinet parts will set challenges for control, breathing and tuning. Performance time is around five minutes. The pdf file contains both the piano score and both instrumental parts.
