Many foreign patients are coming to Korea to take advantage of Korea's healthcare services. To keep up with this trend, AMC's expanded payment systems for the convenience of foreign patients.
As of January 3, to enhance foreign patients' convenience, AMC has adopted a dynamic currency conversion service, so called DCC, and is also honoring China's UnionPay card payment system.
Currently, over four thousand patients from various foreign countries come to AMC each year seeking healthcare and the numbers are steadily growing.
The dynamic currency conversion payment system allows foreign patients to select the appropriate currency when paying with foreign credit cards such as Visa or MasterCard.
The service allows patients to choose from among twelve different currencies, as well as the Korean won, with fixed exchange rates. This offers foreign patients a greater convenience.

I am certain that the DDC system helps foreign patients.
For patients at a hospital, it's very important to get an accurate account of all the fees and details on all the services they are paying for. The DDC system makes that possible.
In addition, foreign patients using the China UnionPay card, similar to a debit card, are now able to make quick and easy payments at the payment machine.
AMC plans to continue providing a range of services to enhance the convenience of making payments for both foreign and domestic patients.
